About Higgins Hardwood Floors

Founded as Mr. M's Flooring Service in 1995 we have a long history of success serving the hardwood flooring needs of residential and commercial customers in the the Boston and Metro West areas. We became Higgins Hardwood Floors in 2004 when Gareth Higgins took over as president. Soon after, Higgins Hardwood Floors became Boston College and Boston University's their hardwood flooring contractor. We continue to work closely with them today!

Gareth Higgins, President of Higgins Hardwood Floors has a Bachelor's Degree from Boston College. He has over 10 years of experience in the hardwood flooring business and works closely with our crews, he oversees each project to ensure the quality of work is superb and that our customer service is second to none.

Since becoming Higgins Hardwood Floors, we have successfully expanded beyond the Boston area through referrals from satisfied residential and commercial clients. We have two full time crews of highly professional hardwood flooring installers and refinishers. They are all craftsmen in their own right. During the busiest times of year we have up to seven crews available to work on your projects. All our crew members are highly trained and experienced in the flooring business.
